knife defense 2. Training methods.
Ok, knife defense is difficult, knife defense is dangerous, but... if you have to defend from a knife, what exercices would help reducing your damage?
Here you have a selection of videos to think about it.

Taekkyon - Korean martial art
Taekkyeon is a traditional Korean martial art, probably stemming from Subak and Ssirum. It is uncertain when Subak was first practiced in Korea, but it may have existed many centuries ago. The first source mentioning Taekkyon is the book Manmulbo (also Jaemulbo), written around 1790 by Lee, Sung-Ji.[1] Taekkyeon is also frequently romanized informally as Taekkyon or Taekyon.
Taekkyon contains all kinds of techniques, including hand and leg techniques as well as joint locks, head butts and so on. However, today there are different styles which sometimes do not emphasize all techniques. In all styles, just like in past centuries, kicks are most dominant. Taekkyon probably teaches a great variety of kicks, especially low kicks (ddanjuk) but also jumps.

Knife defense 1. The Difficulties.
The first of several posts dedicated to this subject.
I´ve selected some videos that can help you valorating the way you practice knife defense.
First video is about how hard is to defend from a knife. Run away is the best way to defend against a knife.. well, if your wife is in danger you shouldnt run away! And it seems impossible to succeed 100% in our defense, but does that mean that we should never train it? I think that training the most effective strategies and moves, at least you are increasing the possibility to survive. And its fun for martial arts lovers.

Judo Master SHIHAN KYUZO MIFUNE
An old video about SHIHAN KYUZO MIFUNE.
"Mifune's influence on post-war Judo cannot be underestimated. His skill was perhaps the most elegant ever seen at the Kodokan. His dynamic and fluid Judo was a natural basis for the explosive development of sport Judo around the world. Indeed, Trevor Leggett, a frequent visitor to the Kodokan over many years, remarked that Judo was much "rougher" at the Kodokan prior to World War II, as opposed to afterward. This was, perhaps, the influence of Mifune." Bstkd.
Chin Na Videos
A video with some chin na movements. From wikipedia: "Chin means to seize or trap, na means to lock or break, and while those actions are very often executed in that order (trap then lock), the two actions can also be performed distinctly in training and self defense. Which is to say, a trap isn't always followed by a lock or break, and a lock or break is not necessarily set up by a trap."
Chin significa sujetar, Na dislocar o torcer.
